Yell:Whisper Comes to Life
The third part to the Yell:Whisper assignment was to create a integration of the previous two parts. These included the radio made strictly out of type (View Here), and the Flash animation I made using no type at all (View Here). I decided that creating a world where the two creatures could live would be the best. And what better place other than LRD Studios would these characters fit in? Tasked with redesigning our given words (yell & whisper) using no words had me a bit stumped. I really liked the last 'feel' of my previous design (using an old school radio and bright colors). For my Branding + Positioning class we were presented with a typographic assignment. We are studying typography and working on improving our typographic skills. For the assignment, we were each given 2 words that we have to illustrate in a creative way. My words were "yell" and "whisper".

Infection Homesick
Tasked with creating a 30-60 second video using a local headline, I chose Homesickness Infects CU Freshman, an article from the Daily Camera.
After seeing the movie Contagion (which I highly recommend), I couldn't resist making a mock-trailer. I used iMovie and various clips from the web. I will be refining the clip over the next week and post updates when it's ready!
